Richard Rider MCU Project in the Works with Moon Knight Scribe

According to Deadline, Marvel Studios is currently planning to introduce fan-favorite hero Richard Rider, aka Nova, to its expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. The long awaited Nova project was finally put into development with moon knight the scribe Sabir Pirzada attached to write the story live.

Since Nova Corps’ live debut in 2014 guardians of the galaxy, MCU fans have long speculated about the hero’s arrival. It’s still unclear if the upcoming project is being developed as a feature film or as a Disney+ series.
Created by Marv Wolfman and John Romita Sr., Nova first appeared in the September 1976 issue of Super Adventures titled “The Man Called Nova”. In the comics, Richard Rider is known as the first iteration of the hero. He is a teenager who became a member of the intergalactic police force Nova Corps, having suddenly inherited the cosmic helmet powers of Rhomann Dey, the last surviving centurion of the elite Nova Corps from the planet Xandar.

the Nova The project is part of Marvel Studios’ growing list of MCU projects, including a number of films such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Wonders, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, The Fantastic Four, Dead Pool 3and more.
