Kevin Feige backs Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider
Ryan Gosling wants to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ghost Rider, and the man who directs him is all for it. After a monstrous Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, Kevin Feige gave Gosling his full support as the spirit of revenge.
“If Ryan wants to be Ghost Rider,” Feige told MTV News. “Ryan is amazing. I would love to find a place for him in the MCU. He dresses up as Ken on Venice Beach and gets more press than any great movie that comes out.”

MTV’s Josh Horowitz was also the one who previously broke Gosling’s casting as Ghost Rider earlier this month.
“Ryan and I discussed the Nova rumors yesterday which he believes are not true,” Horowitz shared on Twitter. “BUT this morning Ryan contacted me to tell me there’s a superhero he wants to play… GHOST RIDER.”
Ghost Rider has appeared several times in live-action, played by both Nic Cage and Gabriel Luna. Cage even said once that he thought his ghost rider the duology would have been better off as an R-rated franchise.
“You know, ghost rider was a movie that always should have been an R-rated movie. David Goyer had a brilliant script, which I wanted to do with David and for some reason they just wouldn’t let us do the movie,” he said. added in a separate interview. “But this movie is a movie that should be made, not with me obviously, but it should be an R-rated movie, dead Pool was R-rated and it worked really well. ghost rider was designed to be a scary superhero with an R rating and an edge and they just didn’t pull it off at the time.”
Cage can be seen in both ghost rider and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeancenow streaming on Hulu.
