  The Charter Township of Clinton is hosting "The Wall That Heals", which is
a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C. Since its
dedication, The Wall That Heals has visited more than 300 cities and towns
throughout the nation, spreading the Memorial's healing legacy to millions.
"Bringing The Wall Home" to communities throughout the country allows the
many thousands of veterans and families who have been unable to cope with
the prospect of facing "The Wall alone, the opportunity to do so within
their own communities, allowing the healing process to begin.

 As a retired Clinton Township Police Captain and a proud Vietnam Vet, I
have been asked to coordinate a motorcycle escort for 'The Wall as it
arrives in Michigan, and provide a motorcycle escort to Clinton Township
Civic Center.

 "The Wall arrives in Michigan on *Tuesday August 31st*, the driver and
exibit manager Bob Dobeck has requested we meet him at the Marshall exit on
I-94. and we will then lead him to the site in Clinton Township. I am
inviting all motorcycle groups to participate as well as any individuals
that would also like to participate in this event.

 *Meet Location & Time:*

 August 31st (Tuesday)
 I-94 Exit 110...... Marshall, Mich
 Citgo Station Truck Stop (eastbound side)
 We will stage begining at 10:00 a.m. we will leave at 11:15 a.m.

 This is a rain or shine ride, pray for sunshine!!!
